AI Transparency Statement
AI Transparency Statement
Effective 30 July 2026 · Last updated 30 July 2026
Introduction
Aurexus Group Ltd ("Aurexus", "we", "us" or "our") is an AI engineering, intelligent transformation and applied research company. Artificial intelligence is integral to how we design platforms and deliver services — but we believe transparency is essential to trust.
This AI Transparency Statement explains how we use AI across our corporate presence and product portfolio, what users and clients can expect, and how we communicate the role of automated systems.
This statement should be read alongside our Responsible AI Policy, Privacy Policy and platform-specific documentation.
Our Approach to AI
Aurexus treats artificial intelligence as one component of a broader operational ecosystem — not an isolated capability. Our philosophy is consistent across BioAegix, NPTTE PharmaNG, BeatIQ and our consulting work:
- Decision support, not default autonomy — AI assists professionals; humans retain accountability
- Context before capability — models are designed around operational understanding, not generic automation
- Governance by design — transparency, auditability and oversight are engineered from the start
- Continuous improvement — we learn from practice, research and evidence
Where We Use AI
Corporate website
On https://www.aurexus-group.com, AI use is limited to:
- Standard analytics and performance optimisation (where consented)
- Security monitoring and anomaly detection
- Internal content and development tools (not exposed to end users without disclosure)
We do not deploy generative AI chatbots on our corporate website that process personal data without clear notice and appropriate safeguards.
BioAegix (healthcare platform)
BioAegix (https://www.bioaegix.com) is our flagship healthcare operational ecosystem. AI capabilities may include:
- Reducing administrative burden through documentation support
- Identifying emerging patterns and operational risks
- Summarising complex information for professional review
- Providing contextual operational insights
- Supporting evidence-informed decision-making and quality improvement
In healthcare contexts, AI outputs are presented as recommendations subject to professional review. Clinical and operational decisions remain with authorised individuals and governing organisations.
NPTTE PharmaNG
NPTTE PharmaNG applies intelligent data management and traceability across pharmaceutical supply chains. AI may support:
- Pattern detection in supply chain data
- Data integrity monitoring
- Operational intelligence and reporting
Human oversight and regulatory compliance remain central to all supply chain decisions.
BeatIQ
BeatIQ uses intelligent technologies for music discovery and personalisation. AI supports content recommendation and user engagement. Users interact with recommendation systems rather than safety-critical decision environments.
Consulting and applied research
In client engagements, we may develop, integrate or evaluate AI components as part of intelligent transformation programmes. Scope, transparency requirements and governance are defined in project agreements.
How We Communicate AI Use
We aim to ensure users and clients can understand when AI is involved:
- Labelling — Where practicable, AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs are identified in product interfaces
- Documentation — Platform documentation describes AI features, intended use and limitations
- Contracts — Client agreements define AI scope, data use, human oversight requirements and accountability
- Updates — Material changes to AI capabilities are communicated through release notes, client notifications or policy updates
Data Used in AI Systems
AI systems may process:
- Operational and transactional data provided by clients within licensed platforms
- Aggregated and anonymised usage data for service improvement (subject to contract and law)
- Publicly available or licensed training data for general models (where applicable)
We do not use client confidential data to train general-purpose models for unrelated third parties without explicit contractual authorisation.
Personal data processing is governed by UK GDPR. See our Privacy Policy and GDPR Information.
Limitations and Accuracy
AI systems have inherent limitations:
- Outputs may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect
- Models reflect patterns in training and operational data, which may contain bias
- AI cannot replace domain expertise, professional judgement or regulatory compliance
- Performance varies by context, data quality and use case
Users should verify AI outputs before acting on them, particularly in regulated or safety-critical environments.
Human Oversight
We design systems so that:
- Authorised users can review, override or reject AI recommendations
- Audit trails record significant AI-assisted actions where required
- Escalation paths exist for uncertain or high-risk outputs
- Clients retain governance responsibility within their operational environments
Third-Party AI Components
We may integrate third-party AI services (such as cloud-hosted language or vision models) where they meet our security, privacy and governance standards. Subprocessors are assessed and disclosed in accordance with data protection requirements.
We do not expose client data to third-party AI providers beyond what is necessary and authorised.
Regulatory Context
We monitor developments in UK and international AI regulation, including guidance from the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) where relevant to healthcare software, and emerging AI governance frameworks.
Our practices are designed to support client compliance in regulated sectors. Final regulatory accountability rests with deploying organisations where required by law.
Your Rights
Where AI processing involves personal data, you may have rights under UK GDPR, including the right to object, request human review of certain automated decisions, and obtain information about logic involved in processing. Contact admin@aurexus-group.com or see our GDPR Information.
